Summer learning task

The children put in a huge amount of effort for their summer learning task. Their task was to produce a piece of work about Chester. They had lots of super ideas of different ways to present their homework. Some of the children created fact files, others made models and some of them made a power point presentation.

Conwy Day 2 - Bush craft

After a nice lunch in the sunshine, year 3 spent the afternoon building their own survival dens. The instructors said they were some of the best they had ever seen!

Conwy - Day 2 - Canoeing

With the sun shining, we had a fantastic morning canoeing on the Menai Strait. After we had finished, a few of the children were brave enough to jump in!

After a delicious tea we had a few minutes to pose for a photo......

 .... then year 3 and year 4 put on blindfolds and had to work together to guide each other around an obstacle course in the woods. Super teamwork everyone!!

Conwy Centre - School Trip - Day 1

We all arrived safely just in time for a quick lunch before heading out climbing for the afternoon. The children all had a fantastic time on the climbing walls, and the teachers and instructors were really impressed with how high everyone went. Well done year 3!

School trip to The Liverpool Museum

Year 3 went on their school trip to The Liverpool Museum last week. It was a great way to finish our topic on Ancient Egypt. The children had a super day and it was made even more exciting when the whole class got stuck in the lift!

Egyptian death masks

This week in Year 3 we have been making Egyptian death masks out of modroc! Here are a couple of photographs. We are only half way through so we'll post pictures of the finished masks next week!

Stars of the week

Well done to Darragh and Georgia this week! Georgia was star of the week for trying really hard in maths and Darragh is always helpful around the classroom.
